Today Charlie had a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis. We got to speak with him for a few minutes after he woke up and he seems OK. He knew his name and birthday which is better than a few days ago.
True to form, Chuck also mentioned that he was hungry and that we should go get him some of his chocolate candies that are in his hospital room.

Christine texted me the grim news this morning. Weird that I have been thinking about the 2 of you lately, as now that COVID has subsided, I had been contemplating a visit to Florida (after Lauren’s wedding). My timing couldn’t be more unseemly.
