Aphasia as described by Dr. Seuss

Well hello there, let me tell you a tale
Of a condition that can make speech quite frail

It’s called aphasia, and it’s quite a sight
To see someone struggle with words in their plight

Sometimes they’ll mix up the sounds of a word
Or use the wrong word, like a silly old bird

Their sentences might not make any sense
And it can be hard for them to express their intents

It’s like their brain has a big old knot
And the words just can’t seem to untie or get out

But with practice and time, they can improve
And find new ways to communicate and groove

So let’s be patient and kind to those with aphasia
And help them find the words they need to say

For with support and love, they can find their voice
And speak their truth, their heart, and their choice
