We pride ourselves by stocking the best rental gear in the area, maintained in top working order. Our rental department carries all forms of scuba and freediving equipment as well as kayaks, bicycles, and jet skis. If you find you have forgotten a critical piece of gear or you just want to try something new please stop by or call the shop.
Jet Skis
Jet ski rentals are a great way to see Narragansett Bay and to live life to the fullest this summer, without breaking your budget. Jet skis offer excitement, tranquility, and the chance to explore Rhode Island’s amazing waterways and coastline with a totally different perspective than sitting on a crowded beach. Our skis are launched directly from State Pier #5, just down the street from our shop, and you choose what you see. Head south to Scarborough Beach & the Pt. Judith Lighthouse or north toward Jamestown. With a half day rental you could even check out the beautiful Newport mansions.

All renters must take a short boater safety quiz and participate in a pre-launch instructional safety briefing before leaving the dock. Operators must be 18 yrs or older but passengers can be of any age. Security deposits are required and will be forfeited if damage is incurred.
Half & full day (8hrs) rates also available. Call us to schedule a time.
Kayaks
We have introduced thousands of people to the joys of kayaking each year. Narragansett Pier Dive Shop offers guided kayaking tours at your convenience, not a preset schedule that you have to “fit it”. Call us and tell us what types of things interest you; animal life, bird watching, surfing the waves, paddle/snorkeling combination and our helpful staff will design a paddling trip for you and your family that exceeds your desires.
We offer a variety of kayak styles and have accessory rentals for the whole family. Rental fee includes kayak, paddles, safety gear, and car-top carriers for those that would rather find their own adventure. Kayaks can also be delivered to your launch site at your convenience.

All rentals are offered daily (24hrs) or weekly (7 days). A valid Drivers License, State or Military ID, and a Credit Card must be on file at the store. Any gear not returned on time will be charged to the credit card as a full retail purchase.
Bicycles
Pay less for bike rentals including Beach Cruiser and Mountain Bike rentals.
Narragansett is mostly flat and provides for easy riding anywhere around town. Also the south end of the William C. O’Neill South County Bike Path is a short ride from our shop. This scenic bike path follows the old Narragansett Pier Railroad from Wakefield out to the Amtrak station in Kingston, RI.
