Narragansett Pier Dive Shop is Southern Rhode Island's headquarters for all your water sport needs. We provide snorkeling, free-diving, and SCUBA adventures as well as kayak, jet ski and bicycle rentals.

We are currently accepting applications for our 2008 season.

Seasonal Waterfront Position –Part Time

Narragansett Pier Dive Shop is seeking a part time waterfront staff member to handle all Jet Ski and kayak rentals for the 2008 season. Your job will be to assist in the day-to-day operations of our rental services business, including set up and breakdown of rentals, assisting patrons get on the water, and reviewing the basics of safety procedures before releasing customers for an hour of fun.

Applicants must be able to work Thursday-Monday, 12 -5pm. Much of the work is outside and involves manual labor when removing gear from the ocean. Knowledge of boating a plus, but not required.

Duties

• Drive trailer with Jet Skis to launch area
• Launch and retrieve Jet Skis and kayaks
• Regular cleaning of Jet Skis at end of each day
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver license
• Valid RI boating license (we pay for the course, you pass the test)
• Ability to drive a truck with boat trailer
• Maintain a professional appearance and remain friendly under pressure

1:00-4:30pm on May 24th, 2008, $40 which includes lunch & your textbook.
